Kevin is in his final year as a BCom with a major in marketing and a minor in retailing & services. Previously, Kevin has been heavily involved with Lazy Faire Magazine, managing a team of 40 contributors, working with sponsors and promoting the publication to students at the Alberta School of Business. Today, in addition to being VP Logistics for NEW, he is Student President for the School of Retailing, responsible for planning and executing the nationally renowned Retail Week. His experiences have landed him in work placements in corporate communications and brand marketing in government and financial services.
As a past male delegate of the NEW Conference, Kevin has recognized the importance of males being part of the conversation around equality. For Kevin, NEW has simply been a weekend that allows students to develop themselves as professionals and make meaningful connections. As VP Logistics, he is responsible for making this year’s delegate experience at NEW as seamless and valuable as possible.
In his spare time, when not exploring new cities and listening to the best hip-hop and trap music, you can find Kevin at home binge-watching Netflix or rereading his top picks from Kurt Vonnegut. After graduating and taking time off to travel Asia, he hopes to work in client relations in an advertising agency or in marketing communications for a global brand.
For any questions about conference logistics or the latest singles from Drake, Childish Gambino or Fetty Wap, Kevin’s your guy!
