Pariyanka is entering her second year in the School of Business and is a finance major. She quickly became passionate about NEW after attending the conference in her first year at the University. She left the conference feeling excited for her undergraduate degree and can’t wait to spread the same inspiration to delegates!
This summer, Pariyanka had the opportunity to intern with the Government of Alberta as a Ministerial Intern. She has gained a deeper of understanding of policy development and enhancement while gaining real life experience. When she’s not working at the Legislature, you can catch her spreading her love for makeup while working at Sephora!
In her spare time, Pariyanka absolutely loves to travel. She has been to LA, Europe, Australia, and can’t wait for her next adventure. One of her favourite hobbies is trying out new things in Edmonton before everyone else! She is a foodie and a die hard coffee lover. She can’t wait to meet you all at this years conference!
Nina is completing her last year at the Alberta School of Business with a major in Finance. For the past four years at the University of Alberta she has had the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities. These activities include case competitions, being a Lab Instructor and study a semester abroad in Italy. She is incredibly excited to be a part of NEW for the 2017/2018 year and wants to deliver best NEW experience to the incoming delegates.
When not planning events or studying for a class you can catch Nina going for a run, spending time with friends and family, or at all you can eat sushi. After finishing her degree Nina plans to travel to Europe and Asia.
Shenai is an incoming fourth year student at Alberta School of Business pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Management Information Systems. She has a very strong passion towards impacting lives through empowerment and thus is grateful to have the opportunity to work with NEW. Shenai keeps herself busy by being a Director at AIESEC Edmonton and organizing fundraising events to help support the disenfranchised as the President of Philippine Students’ Association.
When she’s not out helping interns and organizing events, she can be found out in nature trying to catch a glimpse of northern lights, hiking and exploring, or at home watching movies and spending time with family. Having worked with NPOs and start-ups, she ultimately strives to create a business that works together with consumers to give back to the less fortunate through commerce.
